 Africa is enormous and has more than 50 countries, 1000 languages, and 3000 different tribes. It is famous of its wildlife, including lions, elephants, gorillas and giraffes. The Sahara Desert in he north is one of the driest places on Earth, and the rainforest of the Congo is one of the wettest. From the highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro to the depth of Lake Assal, from modern cities to ancient tribal cultures, Africa is filled with contrasts and variety. It is truly a magical place with lots to discover and enjoy. 

 

One of the most important African exports is music. Styles like gospel, rock and roll, jazz, rap, hip-hop, fun, soul, blues, salsa and many others have roots in African music. Rhythm is the heartbeat of African music and the sound of the drum can be heard across the continent.
