Africa Isn't Just a Continent

 

Did you know Africa is made up of 47 countries however the islands off the coast of Africa like Cape Verde, Madagascar, São Tomé and Príncipe,the Comoros, the Seychelles, and Mauritius are also counted as parts of Africa bringing the total count to 53.

 

Instructions

Once we have done our lucky dip in class everyone will have by chance chosen two counries of Africa to decorate, cut out, and pin in the correct place on our wall sized classroom map (yes I know Archie is still on holiday in Dubai). I have added them all on this page incase some of you would like to create the same type of map at home on your bedroom walls. Africa is a truly amazing place to visit and learn about and I speak from experience, I have only been to Tanzania and its island called Zanzibar. Look how much of Africa I have left to explore!!
